Child Abuse Prevention Councils (CAPCs) may utilize American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA funds) to promote community-based prevention programs that improve the well-being of children, families, and communities and to enact activities that advance racial equity and support underserved populations that have been marginalized by child welfare systems. End Abuse has chosen to utilize funds to provide concrete resources and funds to help keep families together and stable. Using these funds, EALB will distribute $100 grocery vouchers to 5 agencies, if interested please complete this application process by June 15th.
Note: all funds must be distributed to families by 6/30/23, agencies may indicate how many vouchers they'd like below. Funder requires a written gift card distribution acknowledgement from families receiving the voucher.
Our mission is to promote activities and programs meant to strengthen and unify the prevention and treatment of (1) child abuse, (2) domestic violence, (3) elder abuse and (4) sexual assault. While we will consider supporting organizations outside our target region our focus is the Greater Long Beach Area. If you believe your event/project fits with our mission and wish to seek support from EALB please describe the event and request.
Please briefly describe the event, the date, and how End Abuse can support your organization/group. Requests should be made at least 30 days in advance of the event and typically should not exceed $500.
